Is there a way to first set up the iphone, then go to the apple app store, download the move from android app on the iphone on transfer that way? If I abandon the setup, will ANY of the transfer have worked, or is now all lost? Not a good app at all. The Samsung transfer app lets you see the progress of each thing you are transferring- Contacts, check, Text thread, check, calendars, check and so down the line. I have no clue, what has transferred, and what is not, to make a decision to pull the proverbial rip cord

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

There is no "Move to iOS" App for iPhone. That's an Android App.

Give the Migration some time to complete. If it still hasn't transferred anything after a while, Restart your iPhone - Apple Support and Move from Android to iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support again.
