The MacOS Monterey update is not accessible.

How do you decrease the window for MacOS Monterey privacy window, to select the continue button to complete the update installation process? The first window "to set up the installation MacOS Monterey, click continue." However, the window does not decrease nor does the tab button work to reach the continue button.

Upgrade to OS Monterey My iMac is running Big Sur 11.6.7. I would like to upgrade to OS Monterey, but my software updater is just spinning, "checking for updates". My 2017 iMac is listed as compatible. I have also gone to the App store, found where to get Monterey, and selected Get. Now the software updater is forever running a blue line back and forth "finding update". I think the download may have been interrupted at some point previously, but I don't know how to stop it or reset it. Looking for any suggestions to remedy this and upgrade to Monterey. "Install MacOS Monterey" interrupted restart I have tried several times to install MacOS Monterey. It gets so far and then says that all apps need to be closed. I do this and somewhere toward the end, I get a dialog box that says "Some updates could not be installed because "install MacOS Monterey" interrupted restart. The "Install MacOS Monterey" icon is in the dock and will not be removed, even when I try to quit it.

Monterey update 12.6.1 will not install Monterey 12.5.1 is installed and running well. I receive a notice every day that I should install the update to Monterey 12.6.1 shown below: I click download and shows its downloading, the iMac restarts but it is still running version 12.5.1 I have 300 GB storage free of a 500GB startup drive I have deleted previous Mac OS installer apps from the iMac Only Apple apps are installed Ran disk First Aid from recovery partition Etrecheck does not show any warnings or notes and performance is marked as Excellent My Mac is eligible for Ventura so a Monterey update should be compatible. As this update contains security updates I would normally update, but I cant Should I just ignore this update?
