Hello. I have started to get constant requests from my Dad's Toshiba TV to connect to my Macbook Air (M1).
I get constant pop-ups as shown:
I have tried to "Ignore this device" but this doesn't work. I have to Cancel each time to clear the box, however the next time the TV is switched on it all starts again!
Does anyone know how I can prevent this happening please?

If you are not using any Bluetooth devices with that Mac, consider turning off Bluetooth.
It's not a fix, but did you try merely clicking the Connect button? That might stop it from nagging you.
Then, open Bluetooth Preferences and try removing the device.
Sorry, but that is my problem!
I am not using (nor require) connection to the TV.
My Dad does not want connection to my Macbook!
How can I stop the TV from constantly requesting a connection?
NOTE: I have "turned off" Bluetooth on the TV which hasn't helped.
Thanks for the suggestion. No, I haven't tried this as I didn't want to connect in the first place. However, if this would allow me to remove it afterwards, then it is worth trying. Will try this and let you know.
Just tried this. When I did, the TV screen had a pop-up asking me to accept connection to Mac. I clicked YES. Back to Mac - still not connected, and no option to remove device!
Tried everything again but this time when TV Pop-up came onscreen I pressed to NOT accept connection.
Switched TV off, then back to Mac. Waited a few seconds, switched TV on and - guess what? Pop-up on Mac (as before) asking for TV to be allowed to connect!
I think I'll just give up!!
If you're not using the connection, disconnect from the TV?
