Disabling re-download of deleted apps

Has it been updated where parents can delete apps and disable the ability to redownload the app unless they go through parental controls again?

There has to be a way to delete an app and not allow re-download unless the minor asks for permission again, right?

I currently can only set a 1 min time limit on the app as my son keeps downloading the app which he can do without asking for approval as it has been previously downloaded,

surely apple has fixed this flaw

On your son's iPhone:

Settings>ScreenTime>Content&Privacy Restrictions>iTunes&AppStore Purchases>... the first 3 options should be set on "Don't allow". When done, restart that device.
