inverted cmd and opt key

Since the last system update, my iMac is doing weird things!

Last week, my left and right button on my mouse were inverted. I restarted the computer and it was fine... But this time was not an easy fix.

My option and my command keys are inverted now! It's like telling your brain you should drive on the other side of the road from now on!

Here's how I fixed it... for now:

• System Preference › Keyboard
• Under the Keyboard tab, at the bottom, clic Key modifiers
• Choose Command from the drop down menu for Option
• Choose Option from the drop down menu for Command

It works for now, but is there anything I can do on my end so the system stop sending me these inverted problems? I do restart it every 2 to 3 days.
