I entered my Apple ID and password to download the software on my MacBook Air, but it doesn't match.

What do I have to do?

I already change my password, but the problem is still not resolved.

Can’t download software with out password Anyone bought a used MacBook and got stuck on downloading software password? Any way to go around it? I signed in with my apple account but it’s still saying wrong password

Password not accepted to install software update. Just transferred from old MacBook Pro to new MacBook air may have missed a step in the process
