Will the applewatch 7 work through my iphone connected to google fi. If not can I get the model with cellular and would it then be independent of my carrier?

To setup and use an Apple watch, it MUST be paired with an Apple iPhone if that is what you are asking. Also, the iPhone and cellular watch MUST use the same carrier. For more info, see the 'Before you start' section in:
