Logitech K480 Keyboard

Hi!

First, saw folk asking about Cut, Paste, etc. It used to be Control, now it is Cmd. (alt) plus X, V, etc.

My question with the keyboard and IOS15.3 I keep getting these blue screens. Like what you get for highlighting text. Sometimes it's a blue outline. Sometimes the whole page is blue. Sometimes part of the page.

It is often after using Shift and Tab to select the app. ????

I haven't found a consistent way to exit that function. Sometimes Shift Home...any ideas?

Any ideas on that blue screen???? A lot of times it is when I am trying to chat with Customer Service.

Thanks!

Troubleshooting iPhone with Keyboard:

A. Contact Logitech:

Ask Logitech is they know what exactly is occurring. It may be that Logitech has yet to do this part in making firmware for this.

Contact Us Link: Welcome to Logitech Support

Important: Get the firmware from the manufacturer (Logitech), and none other. Elsewise, you may end up installing malware or spyware.

B. Cut, Paste, Etc:

For a Mac, it is is command you use for the shortcut. The Control key is for a PC. As for a keyboard on an iPhone, I'm not so certain. So, ask Logitech if the have the correct firmware for this.

C. As for the Blue Screen:

It not a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death), as that would occur at boot on a computer. So, I'd say stop using this Logitech keyboard, and (A) go Apple-for-Apple (Apple brand keyboard) or (B). just stick with the iPhone's tap screen.

B. View YouTube:

Also, look for some instructions on YouTube as to how to configure this. A use might have found this out, and posted a video.

Thanks for the reply!

A. I will contact Logitech. I was hoping someone else had a keyboard shortcut.

B, I was merely pointing out that people were thinking it was Cntrl and not Cmnd. There seemed to be a lot of confused folk.

C. No, not a BSOD by any means. It is more a generalized selection, like Select All, that won't go away. I can tap anywhere on the screen, and it just stays there. Won't allow me to input text.

In certain fields, like Customer Service, once that starts, it won't go away. I have to close the chat.

I also have trouble with selecting things on the screen. A blue box highlights the selection.

Does anyone know how to stop that function? Easy to start, I haven't figured out how to stop. lol

It's easy to get the selection tool, (blue box), but I don't know how to make it go away. (At least with an easy key shortcut.)

Even turning the keyboard off doesn't work.

I use shift, tab on the home screen to open selection. And a blue box comes on, choosing an App. I can use the arrow keys to move around the field, and tab to change the field.

Space Enter will open that chosen app. But, the selection feature won't go away once it is started. It shows up in the App I chose. It shows up when I go back to Home.

It can interfere with other functions.

It just seems like a really handy tool. I'm new to it, so hoping someone knows the shortcuts.

Thanks so much!!!!
