Safari download restriction

Hi,

I'm having troubles with adult content restrictions. It seems the limits only affect safari on my Childs MacBook. I've found if they download (straight from safari and not the App Store) chrome, tor, opera, or any other browser the restriction don't take affect and they have free access to the internet. Is there a way to prevent them from downloading anything from safari? I know there's a way to I could go in and prevent downloads from certain sites but by the time I've prevented all those browsers from being downloaded ten more will pop up.

If anyone has some input that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, somesupra. It's important to be able to keep your child's online time safe! The best way to safely control that is by using Screen Time on the Mac, which is explained in greater detail here: Set up content and privacy restrictions in Screen Time on Mac.

A few things to keep in mind: To restrict web content, click Content, then select options. See Change Content & Privacy preferences in Screen Time.To restrict apps, click Apps, then select options. See Change Apps Content & Privacy preferences in Screen Time.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
