How do I turn off the white line on the bottom of the screen on my new ipad mini 6? I just upgraded from 3rd Gen Mini and that one didn't have this silly white bar. It's super annoying to have it lighting up a dark room, while I read on my kindle app.

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities! It's possible that this line is a part of the Kindle app. Close the Kindle app to see if the line goes away. Check to see if the line shows in other apps. This will help you figure out where the issue lies: Quit and reopen an app on iPad

The line shows where you can swipe up on your screen to access the Home screen. If you see it when an app is open it means that you can swipe up to exit the app. If you'd like to leave feedback for Apple you can do so here: Product Feedback.

There isn't a way to turn it off or have it removed. We recommend leaving feedback as previously suggested.
