MacBook Pro M1 2020 battery usage advice

Should I use my macbook pro plugged (if i am going to use it for all day) even though it has 100% battery.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.2

The rule of thumb —if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portibility then run on battery only.


This is how you reduce the cycle count and prolong the working life of your battery.
