Removing iPad as a Home Hub.

I have my iPad and HomePod setup as home hubs, as I first setup my iPad to do that function before I bought my HomePod. Now that I have my HomePod I want to remove my iPad as a Home Hub, but I can't seem to find how to do that. How do I remove my iPad from the list of Home Hubs?

Set up iPad as a home hub

  1. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud and make sure that you're signed in to iCloud with the Apple ID that you used to set up your HomeKit accessories in the Home app.
  2. Scroll down and check that Home is turned on.
  3. Tap Settings > Home and turn on Use this iPad as a Home Hub.

You want to turn this setting off.
