My Mac, macOS Monterey Version 12.2.1 keyboard and mouse refuse to pair with the Mac. The Mac can find the devices - even showing battery level - but displays the error "passkey mismatch"

Nothing is working for me. I called technical support and they said they mouse was not working and sent me a new wireless mouse. It worked for a few weeks and now not working anymore. It intermittently connects to my bluetooth and then says passkey mismatch but then also just disconnects on its own. I have tried it in safemode and also in guest user account and it does the same thing in all of those modes. Please help me, I've spent so much time on this.

Same, had to go by a usb mouse and keyboard. Not happy at all.

I've had to plug in an old mouse so I am not able to use the wireless mouse at all. I hope apple fixes the issue. :(
