After upgrading to IOS 15.3.1, I only see myself on Facetime

Before upgrading we were always able to see each other on a FaceTime call. I can't find any solution to fix this on google that works. Is there a camera "on-off" control for FaceTime? If so, where is it? Is there any instructions for this Facetime version? Honestly, I was really apprehensive about upgrading the OS and this is one of the reasons why. Should I go back to the previous OS?

Hello rgbnite,

Downgrading to a previous iOS version is not suggested or supported by Apple. If you're unable to see the other person while making a FaceTime call, take a look at the resource below that can help with using FaceTime on your device. This article guides you through checking your settings for FaceTime as well. If this is only happening with one contact, you might want to have them check their settings to make sure their camera is enabled.

Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you go through this article and check your settings and the issue remains, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support.
