iphone 8 not charging when powered on.

My iphone 8 only charges when its powered completely off. Once it turns back on, it dies very quickly within seconds. It has never done this before and it used to lose battery and charge very normally. I have no idea what happend and ive tried everything, (yes even cleaning the port and changing the wires) it has nothing to do with the charger itself its definitely the iphone.
