Gap in body frame and top speaker frame

I found a very very small gap between stainless steel body frame and top speaker frame in my new iPhone 13 pro max without any drop and hit!

Is this gap normal?!

Could it affect its waterproofness?

I guess water can seep into it from here because i can see inside!

is this Design error?!
