Mac Pro screens

I bought my Mac book air 10 days ago there wasn’t notice on any small print to not apply a screen protector so I process to apply my screen protector new bought on Amazon for this Mac book laptop And it mess up my screen trying to see what to do I didn’t purchase the extra Apple care from Best Buy does any body know if they honor there 15 day warranty

"Leaving any material on your display, keyboard, or palm rest might interfere with the display when it's closed and cause damage to your display."


That damage would not be covered under warranty.
