My older IMAC has gone black screen. Powers on but with a total black screen, any suggestions?
I have unplugged for several minutes, held power button for 20 seconds to reboot.
Any additional suggestions?

Follow the steps at > If your Mac doesn't start up all the way - Apple Support for a blank screen.
If that does not help, then you need to contact Apple Support or your local Apple Authorized Service Provider.
