Powerpoint Presenter View in Zoom?

I have instructions to open Presenter View in Zoom and click "Advanced". This does nothing but limit screen sharing. How does one see the slide notes in Zoom while the audience only sees the slides?

Have to give a lecture next Weds so a quick reply would be useful. Thanks!

Macbook Pro 2020, Catalina, PPT v.16.58 via 365 university subscription.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Thanks, this was really promising, but the lower left icons to show Presenter View do not appear on my Slide Show version. Once I'm in Slide Show, I cannot do anything else. But thank you for trying.
