enabling MMS on MacBook Pro
Keep getting message 'unable to sent. MMS not enabled'. Tried to find 'enable' on the MacBook - nope. I have gone to my iPhone to 'Messages' and that shows' enabled. What's goin on ??

on your Mac, you need to launch Messages and set it up using its Preferences:
Messages > preferences > iMessage
Your logged in Apple-ID should be shown, click:
[√] Enable this account.
you can add your iPhone phone number and other accounts if you wish.
