Why aren’t my files downloading?? It goes through the safari just fine but then I try to open them in files and it appears “downloaded 0%” and a big X on the top. How do I fix this?

So this is happening when I download a file from safari:

As you can see, they are normal brush files for the procreate app, I have downloaded some before with no issue at all. But now I apparently can’t (??) I have restarted the iPad and my Wi-Fi is totally ok, I even tried to download it again from safari but it goes normally just until I open them in files, then I can’t use them. I paid for this 😩 someone pls help

iPad Air, iPadOS 15

Hello peardie,

Thanks for participating in Apple Support Communities! Take a look at the steps under "When changes to your files upload to iCloud" and "If your files don't update to iCloud Drive" for great tips and steps to help: Access iCloud Drive files from your iPhone and other devices

If you're still having an issue, let us know more:

  • Do you use a VPN or security software, by chance?
  • Does this happen when you connect to a different Wi-Fi network?
  • How much available iCloud storage do you have: Manage your iCloud storage

Keep us posted!

Take care.
