Does it count as Trade in?

You had 14 days from the date of purchase to return it for a full refund. Unfortunately your are out of that time period and Apple won't take it back. You will need to sell it and apply that money towards a new phone.

Apple doesn't accept current models for trade in.

The iphone 13 will be accepted for trade in when the iphone 14 is released. Historically this is around October.

It's up to you whether you want to wait.

You can't return your phone.

You can't trade it in.

Your only option is sell it privately.

Troubleshoot your iPhone Storage:

Internal storage cannot be upgraded. It is what it is. So, the maximum internal storage capacity never increases, even if you upgraded your iCloud plan. Learn More here: What's the Difference Between Device Storage and iCloud Storage? Apple Support. So, you'll just have to clear space, and then perform the upgrade.
