MacBook keeps popping an obsolete email address and asking me to log in iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
i had that email address some years ago; it was my Apple ID for a while; it was closed and cannot be recovered. I had the same issue before and I do not remember how I fixed it. The problem reappeared after I undated my IOS a few days ago.
My MacBook is logged in with my current Apple ID; when I click my name, it does show my current Apple ID, and associated Apple devices. But a window keeps popping out and asking me to type my PIN for that obsolete email address in order for my computer to use iCloud with this MacBook, similar situation is true to my iMessage and FaceTime apps as well.
I called Apple support; apparently this was something new to her, the Apple support representative. We both got frustrated and eventually I was cut off.
I am not sure if this is a common problem? Do I have some unwelcome adware or virus in my computer? Can it be fixed? Or I should just delete everything and reinstall the system? Anyway I am just lost.
It would be really appreciated if someone can offer me help or advise.
