MacBook Air and Sandisk compatibility.
I'm new to MacBook Air and wonder if I can use a sandisk usb 3.0 to copy some individual files (.pdf, .pages, etc.) to it?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.2

Hi,
There is no reason it shouldn't work if you can physically connect it.
I was able to connect and rename the device and then copy to it.
I ejected it and when I removed it, the sandisk was hot. Is this typical?
(Thanks for your earlier response.)
It depends on exactly which Sandisk you have and how much data you copied. It's not uncommon. And "hot" is subjective; most drives warm up to some degree with extensive activity.
