Scissors Icon in blade tool.
Is it possible to change the scissors icon back to the blade one in the blade tool? I don't like the scissors icon at all.

I don't like the scissors either, but only Apple can change the application.
All you can do is use feedback, to make your views known:
Final Cut Pro->Provide Final Cut Pro Feedback...
