Syncing iMac and MacBook Air Desktops

I have a personal iMac and a work-issued MacBook Air. Both are running the latest MacOS Monterey (version 12.2.1). The work-issued MBA is a "new" one I received about three weeks ago after my "original" MBA would no longer charge. Now, the MBA and iMac aren't syncing files and edits between one another. I've checked to make sure that I am logged in through the same Apple account to both devices. Yet, I'm not seeing any changes made to any file on one device sync to the other device.

File synchronization is achieved through iCloud. Make sure both computers are accessing the same iCloud account and that iCloud is correctly configured.
