Sync two macbook desktops

I have just bought a 12inch macbook to work alongside my macbook pro.

I migrated all the files from the pro to the 12inch.

I then created a file on the 12inch, put it on the desktop expecting to see it appear on the pro desktop...it hasn't.

When I look at the documents on the desktop in file view, on the 12inch they have a little cloud at the side of each one, on the pro they don't.

** Just tried it the other way round...created a file on the pro put it on the desktop and it has appeared on the 12inch....just need it to do it the other way round as well! **

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers

Mark
