Just purchased a classic iPod classic refurbish from Apple. Will not download iTunes.

Just purchased a classic iPod from iPod SuperStore DBA The iSuperStore. It will not download music from iTunes. It just claims that the download is complete.

See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support. You cannot sync Apple Music content to an iPod classic, or anything that is currently located in the cloud.

They don't sell them anymore so how can you have purchased a ipod classic?
