iPhone XR's photos getting noticeably darker when taken compared to the "preview" shown on the camera app.

When taking pictures with my iPhone XR I could notice that sometimes (usually when there is a big color contrast in the picture), the photo shown in the camera app is different from the picture saved in the photo gallery. Not only that, the image in the gallery looks visibly worse and with less color range/clarity. You can see that difference below. The first image shows the photo saved in the gallery. The second one is a screenshot from the camera preview.

I have already tried switching some settings on the camera settings but none of them seems to change that.
