My new phone wants me to enter my old phones 6 digit code but it was only 4 digits
My new phone wants the 6 digit password to my old phone but it was only 4 digits. How do I get past it?

Unfortunately, you cannot. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support and try again.
If the issue persists, on your old iPhone, Set a passcode on iPhone - Apple Support to a 6-digit passcode, then Transfer data from your previous iOS or iPadOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support again.
