If by "upgrade" you mean getting the current Logic Pro app when you have, say, Logic 8 or 9 installed, then the answer is no. You still have to purchase the current Logic Pro app. And that means it's going to be an entirely new app installed. The problem with that is, of course, that the current version requires a Mac running macOS 11 or 12. And upgrading to one of these macOS versions will essentially make your legacy version of Logic redundant. But the good news is, the new app itself now costs considerably less than the legacy versions and packs more in terms of built-in instruments, FX and Apple Loops.

Log into the Mac App Store with the Apple ID you previously used to get Logic, click on the Purchases tab, and try downloading it; if Apple left an older version available, you'll be given the option of getting that.

Thanks, JotaGi!
My current Mac (from early 2012) will not allow an OS upgrade past Mojave.
On my older Mac (running El Cap - and can't upgrade the OS further) I have Logic 10.3.3 running fine.
Please, how can I get the appropriate version of Logic to run on my current Mojave-only Mac?
Given my longtime use of Logic Pro (and earlier versions!) does Apple provide a Logic download for a Mojave-only Mac?
Thank you so much!

Thank you, Neil. I can see my purchase of Logic Pro (10.3.3) in 2015 when I log in to Mac Apple Store/my purchases. There are no download links there.
If I download Logic Pro from the Apple Store, it appears that it will be the latest version - and this will not open on my Mojave-only computer.
How can I install the correct version of Logic Pro to run on my current Mojave-only Mac?
Thanks, any/every body! : )
