can i change my apple care?
I do not want to have apple care with theft and loss. I want to change my plan to basic apple care

In this document, it details how to cancel the Applecare with theft/loss towards the end of the document. Since this is an insurance coverage, I do not know if you can change the plan (the regular plan is not an insurance coverage).
When you call Apple to cancel your current plan, ask them if it can be changed to a regular Applecare coverage.
