Hi guys,

Came across this thread when looking into the same problem with my 2020 Macbook Air M1. Bottom of the laptop creaking/cracking noise. I found someone else mentioning that an Apple store removed the bottom panel and put it back on, and it solved it. Luckily, I didn't have to remove it, but just loosen all the P5 screws and tighten them again. If you still have this annoying problem, give it a try. $6 on Amazon brought my sanity back!

Brand New MacBook Creaking So about a week ago I purchased a brand new MacBook Pro M1 and recently I have noticed when I move it while its open in makes creaking noises within the keyboard area or hinge or trackpad. It's not like it keeps doing it over and over in the same spot but instead across the whole device making it random and un coordinated like throwing a dart blind folded. It isn't affecting the performance of the computer though the noises that it makes are pretty annoying for someone like me whose ears are always on and alert all the time. I would think that maybe this is either a manufacturing defect or something is loose across the whole build but I came here to here others perspectives and if anyone else shares my problem.

Bottom panel squeak MacBook Pro I bought a new MacBook Pro M1, I ran into a problem that when you press the lower panel of the laptop in the middle, or a little further from the edge, there is a strange squeak / creak, the sound is similar to electric. Has anyone encountered such a problem? How critical and dangerous is it?

macbook air 2019 creaking noise. I have the latest MacBook Air (2019) and I bought it almost 3 weeks ago...Sometimes when I touch it or add some pressure on it I hear a little creaking noise right and top of the laptop...Is it something that I should worry about and how can I fix it? I consider that maybe a screw makes this noise but I'm not sure.
