Can I transfer AppleCare+ on my AppleWatch to my new phone?

I have an Apple Watch series 6 and I just purchased an Apple Watch 7. There's still months (Oct 2022) left on my AppleCare+ plan for my series 6. Can I transfer the remaining months to my new watch?
