Flickering Camera when recording Slow-Motion

Evening, so recently I got a new iPhone 13 mini - everything was fine until I decided to see the slow-motion. The problem is self explanatory - flickering camera when recording at both 120 and 240 FPS it just flickers when I’m trying to record something. Every other Camera ‘mode’ is fine tho.

Interesting is that the recording is also bugged out, when trying to see it from the photo gallery.

Yordan_,

See if this is happening because of your lighting. When you are using Slo-mo mode, test this in different lighting including natural outdoor lighting. If it works here, this could be because the camera is capturing the natural way some lighting flickers.

Another isolation tip would be to take a slow-motion video that is doing this, and edit where the slow motion takes place in the video. This way you can see from the same video, if is happening because of the video or if it is just capturing the effects of the lighting.

1. Open a video shot in Slo-mo mode, then tap Edit.
2.Drag the white vertical bars beneath the frame viewer to set where the video is played in slow motion.

Reference: Trim video length and adjust slow motion on iPhone

Hope this helps.

Have a good day.
