Hi - Tried transferring my Music from iPhone to new MacBook Air and it has been sucessful for some but not all. The majority of my music on my iPhone 7 is from when I had iTunes on my old MacBook Pro (2010).
Can anyone help?
Were they iTunes purchases or CD rips? If CD rips, you can't sync them back to any Mac. This is not anything new. If they are iTunes purchases, if they won't sync from the phone, they should still be available for download from within the Music app, assuming you are using the same AppleID.

Some were CD rips and some were mp3 files transferred from my PC when I bought my MacBook Pro in 2010. Is there any way these can be transferred to my new MacBook Air without using Apple Music?
