CleanMyMac won’t remove adware

Hi, I’ve got the premium version of this app on my Mac. It will remove everything except for the remaining adware. These are the errors it outlines:

There were errors during the deletion process.

Errors:

The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCMMalwareLaunchAgentModelDomain error 101.)

"/Applications/BasicVirtual.app" couldn’t be removed, because you didn't authorize this operation.

I’ve given the app full access in privacy settings, what could the issue be?

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS, alter, modify, remove or delete or attempt to do so is an invitation for disaster and may require a Reinstallation of the OS.

This includes AntiVirus, Disk Cleaners, Disk Optimizes, UnInstaller etc.

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions  and that has been supplied by previous posting

This will include CleanMyMac suggest reading the first 600 posting as to the damages this Specific Application can and will do.

IMHO the upgrade to either Big Sur or Monterey hinging on several factors.

1 - Hardware - Both Big Sur and Monterey are more demanding. They seem to work much better on SSD Drives with a Minimum of 256 GB. RAM - 8 GB Minimum and 16 GB is better. Rotational or Fusion Drives will take a major hit on performance.

2 - Moving from Catalina to Monterey and skipping Big Sur - jumping over all the newer versions and directly to Monterey on Qualifying computers is Technically possible - there are those who have attempted and were successful. Then there are those who attempted and had less than good results.

If this is a Production or Mission Critical Set-up - a more prudent and measure approach is suggested.

The above is from observations on the Apple Support Community Forums and IMHO

3 - Monterey - There are reports appearing on the ASC Forums regarding failed installation of Monterey on older Qualifying Apple Computers. In most cases this is related to having a NON Apple Original internal drive ?

The EFI Boot ROM included in Monterey is verifying for Original Apple Drive and if not found , may Balk or fail to upgrade to Monterey.

Reports indicate the EFI BOOT ROM is Required to Flash the Computer and is a  requirement for a Successful Monterey Installation.

Would wait for additional input from previous Poster before moving forwards
