iPad 3rd Gen won't connect to WiFi
Upgraded WiFi to Deco X20 6Mesh without problems, except my iPad 3rd Gen won't connect. Message is "Unable to join network".
Why won't it join? Any ideas.
Thank you.

Perhaps you have WiFi Private Addressing enabled in iPad sertings, this being enabled by default. The WiFi Private Address feature provides additional privacy and security when using “public” (untrusted) WiFi networks. This feature is largely unnecessary for your home WiFi network - and may, in some circumstances, disrupt network connectivity.
This feature is configured for each WiFi network to which you connect. As a diagnostic exercise, try disabling this feature:
Settings > WiFi > [Your Network Name / SSID] - tap the blue “i” icon - Private Wi-Fi Address - set to OFF

Unless you are using one of the most recent models of iPad, your iPad will not support WiFi6 (i.e.. 802.11ax) WiFi connections. You must configure your new WiFi Router for WiFi4/5 - otherwise your iPad will not be able to connect.

Perhaps that device, firstly released in 2012, cannot support the connection with that new router.
Since I've never used that new router, I suggest that you contact TP-Link support team and ask them.
Regards
Giulio
The TP-Link website has a generic answer.
"WiFi Deco 6E products have 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless radio as well.
Your old phones and laptops can still connect to the traditional 2.4 GHz and
5 GHz band".
Therefore I still have my problem.
Finally solved the problem with help from the TP-Link team. My WiFi band security appeared to be the problem.
My original settings were "WPA3-Personal + WPA2-PSK (AES)".
Resetting security setting to "WPA2-PSK (AES)" solved the problem.
I can now joined my WiFi network with all my devices.
None of the above links and information solved my problem.
Any other ideas?
Awaiting a reply from TP-Link team. So far, not solved.
