Got Error -69888 while trying to unmount a disk

I tried all the methods suggested without success, but after I removed all the files on the disk used Terminal and typed "sudo diskutil unmountDisk /dev/diskx" , "x" is the number of the disk that I wanted to unmount, and Voila! Success!
