How do I export subtitles from FCP 7 and import them into Premiere?

How do I export subtitles from FCP 7 and import them into Premiere? FCP does not seem to be able to handle my HD video (1920 - 1080, APR HQ422), it's way out of sync. If I can't export the subtitles (and there are hundreds) I have to retype them manually into Premiere. So far I have been unable to export an XML which Premiere Pro 2020 can read.
