iCloud upload failed, lost file

So I am preparing my MacBook to sell, I was uploading a document I wanted to keep to the iCloud Drive. I drag and dropped it so instead of copying it was a transfer. Stupidly before checking if it was finished I signed out of my Apple Account while it was uploading.

I cannot find the file anywhere, I have tried time machine, restore files option on iCloud Drive, and DiskDrill, which only finds an old version of the file. It is a small save game file but it’s very important as I’d put loads of time into it! Is there any other way of finding the lost file?
