Iphone locks out to soon and too may times

My apple IPhone 7 locks out immediately, and it constantly asks for pass code, when I went to settings it asked for finger ID 5 times, how do I turn that off, and set lockout time to 5 min? also need to turn off that verification where it sends a code to another device when you try and log in.

iPhone 7, iOS 15

Greetings fuzzy257,

Both settings you're looking to change can be found under Settings > Touch ID & Passcode. From here on this page, you can choose to Turn Passcode Off. You can check out these steps (along with more information about the iPhone Passcode) here: Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

To disable Touch ID, you can follow the steps listed under the Manage Settings section on this page: Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad.

As far as two-factor authentication goes, you cannot turn it off once it's been disabled.

If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, you can unenroll within two weeks of enrollment. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require higher security.

To find out more information about two-factor authentication, check out the information on this page: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID.

Kind regards!
