It can only be connected to one Mac for display output, and it must be Thunderbolt 3.

I don't believe Apple has ever released a display with multiple inputs, not even the Pro XDR.
...and at the end of the day after some research, there are very few TB3 KWM switches and I'm still not sure this works reliably. What a job of Apple to come out with a brand new monitor and just one single input???

...but I guess, you could use a TB3 KVM switch?! That's at least my solution now, though not sure how many products are still in the market
Is there a 3rd party product that can do this, or some software way of "casting" onto it? I have a Mac mini permanently attached, but also plug in my MacBook Pro laptop. It would be annoying to have to unplug one to use the other, especially since the plug is on the back of the display, and back of the Mac mini.
Really would have been awesome. Connect my private Mac and office MacBook for home office at once…
so now I’m still looking for another display. No need for camera or speakers here.
