Calendar invite on Mac but not iPhone

Hi all,

So I've been having this issue for as long as I've used the Calendar app - when my husband sends me an invite to an event, I get notified on my MacBook (which is used rarely but it comes up as soon as I use it), but it doesn't notify me at all on my iPhone or iPad.

If I then go onto the Calendar app and then to the day that I know the invite is for, it will appear, but it will be greyed out, awaiting my accepting. But of course, if I don't know I've been sent an invite, then it won't get picked up by me until I scroll through my calendar. If I respond to the invite on my Mac it shows up under "replied" in the invites section but there are never any new invites on my phone Calendar app when I'll have numerous on my Mac calendar app.

I've tried everything but I'm still getting the same issue.......PLEASE any help at all?

Hello busymomsmb726,

With iCloud, you can sync Calendar events between your devices which use the same Apple ID.

• On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
• Turn on Calendars.
• To view calendars stored in iCloud, open the Calendar app, then do one of the following:
iPhone or iPod touch: Tap Calendars at the bottom of the screen, then select the calendars you want to view in the iCloud section.
• On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Apple ID, then click iCloud.
• Select Calendars.
• To view calendars stored in iCloud, open the Calendar app. Choose View > Show Calendar List, then select the calendars you want to view in the iCloud section.

Set up iCloud for Calendar on all your devices

If you're already set up properly on both your Mac and iPhone, but Calendar is still not syncing, check out this article for help:

Thank you for your response. After checking every step, everything was already set up the way it should be. I clicked your extra link for if they won't sync, and it seems that everything is also working properly. I got all the way down to number 7. I have plenty of iCloud storage left. However, when on my iPhone in Settings> Apple ID> iCloud> Manage Storage, Calendars is not listed as an app using storage even though it is turned on in the iCloud screen previously. What else can I do?
