Hunter Ceiling Fan going to no response after 10 minutes

Hello,

I have a Hunter Areodyne ceiling fan. I am using an apple TV as a home hub and have several devices setup in homekit including this ceiling fan. I can set the ceiling fan up and it will function with Homekit for about 10 minutes and then will go to no response and stay that way until I either power cycle the fan or delete the fan from the hunter app and set it back up at which point it will work for about another 10 minutes and go to no response again. I've been emailing their support for over 2 months now and the closest I got was when a new firmware got pushed out, it staid available for about a week. Then I had a power outage due to a thunderstorm and it was right back to going to no response every 10 minutes. The remote always works but I would like it to work as advertised. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if I have a buggy fan. Their tech support seems to be trying, but we don't seem to be getting anywhere. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks deggie. I have actually thought about that. I have been working with Hunter for over two months and am running short of patience with them. That’s mainly why I’m turning to other avenues. I have seen others with this issue but they are much older posts and none of them actually mentioned what resolved their issue of anything. Like I said, I feel like I have a defective unit but I do want to explore any possibility before I go demanding to exchange it.
