If I let others use my hot spot are they able to get into my phone ? And if so how do I get my phone to work normal again

If I let others use my mobile hot spot , at they able to hack my phone or service ? I can text and call other then that I’m not tech savvy, I had straight talk service until the phone was unlocked , so this carrier I don’t have hot spot on it, but I’m thinking a little to late? The phone would take my passwords after I reset phone , but then kept taking me back to the same thing and phone is just not the same after I shared the hotspot ! What can I do

Hey rainy65,

It sounds like you have some concerns about using mobile hotspot. We can understand wanting to look into that further.

It would not be expected behavior for someone to be able to access or make changes to your device while using your iPhone's Personal Hotspot.

You also mentioned that you changed cellular providers on your iPhone, but it sounds like you're having some issues. After your previous carrier unlocked your iPhone, did you follow these steps?

If you have a SIM card from a carrier other than your current carrier

Use these steps to finish unlocking your iPhone:

1. Remove your SIM card.

2. Insert the new SIM card. Your device will activate.

If so, can you provide some additional information on what is happening?
