How can I reassign the keyboard functions?

I'm going batty with the, to me, way key functions are done. I left Windows decades ago and have been an entirely Open Source user until a year ago when I decided to try the M1 Mac Mini, which from a hardware design is where things should have gone a long time ago. So kudos to the design team! The world outside of MAC have standardized on key function which are, in my mind, more logical and easier to do. I use a 109-key from Logitech which supports both standards but things such as not having working Home and End keys I find so annoying.

I found an article about an app called Ukelele which apparently would allow me to change the keyboard any way I want but it might not be compatible with Monterey as it does not appear in the App Store. I suppose I could try to d/l it and install it manually.

Mac mini, macOS 12.2
