Issues with calls on my iPhone: "User busy"

Go to Settings/Focus and turn off personal focus, or add him to your VIP list and set Focus to allow calls from VIPs

I think I just figured it out!! I went to my settings, then Cellular and Cellular Data. Selected LTE vs 5G options. Tested calls from a contact, (Not Favorite) and an unknown number and they both came through. Guessing it has something to do with the 5G network, so I will leave it on LTE until there is an update.

The User Busy message comes ONLY from Focus, from nowhere else. And Verizon doesn’t know anything if you went to a store; they are staffed with sales people. Verizon fired all of the techs they used to have in stores years ago. Telephone techs know a little more, but not much. One of your Focuses is still on, probably Personal.

User Busy means you did not turn off all Focus settings.

This has happened to me twice in the past month and is currently happening right now. Nothing seems to be resolving the issue.

Same issue. Calls going directly to voicemail and “User Busy” flashes with the incoming number. My focus settings are off, mute is off. Have rebooted. Nothing working. Have latest update.

They are off. All off. Spent an hour with Verizon, double-checked multiple settings, reset network, called *73 and much more and they can't figure out issue. Calls from my Favorites, (at least one of them) comes through. Other contacts or unknowns do not.

This issue sounds easy but it's actually a complicated one, I had same issue with my device. Surf all through the net and YouTube, but nothing helped.

I know how to turn Focus off...and it was not on to begin with. Other people are having this same issue. It was tech support. Not store.

The update has to be from your carrier, not your phone.
