When is a Rosetta 2 update going to be available?

Does anyone have any news on this, please? I want to run NordPass on my M1 Mac and it crashed on opening every time. That was before I found out how to identify whether an app is Universal or Intel in Get Info. NordPass support said it runs on an M1 Mac but with Rosetta not springing into life when trying to load an Intel app, apparently even developers are being left in the dark.

Yesterday I tried running the Rosetta updater and got two dialog boxes; the first telling me that an update is needed so I clicked the install button, only to be told there was a problem and to try again later. It was the same again this morning. The latest post I found here that mentioned the Rosetta problem is six weeks ago, that's an awful lot 'later'. My OS is up to date. Has Rosetta been abandoned?
