Do you have GarageBand installed right now. The App Store only has one for Big Sur or higher. If you have it installed it should get updated thru the App Store . If not, the only thing I found is a Legacy content package that includes GarageBand 6 in Apple support downloads.Download: Legacy Content Packages for Logic 9, MainStage 2 and GarageBand 6 Basic
I do not have GarageBand on my High Sierra OSX. I tried downloading and installing from the link you suggested. It was downloaded and installed, but now it can't be found on my computer. Not sure what happened. I thought the install ran smoothly. No error messages, nothing. Thank you for your suggestions. I will keep investigating. I am hoping someone will see this and have an idea of what I might have done wrong.
Use spotlight to find it. Should either be in the applications folder or the utilities folder. You can check Library application support also. That link I gave might have been an update and not a full install. The version I think you need is 10.3.5 If you ever had it installed, it might be in you App Store purchases.
